Studio Delta Delivery Policy
Delivery of the Product shall take place at the address specified by the Customer on the Website or via email or otherwise communicated in writing, and the customer shall be deemed to have accepted the product upon their delivery to such address. The customer will make the necessary arrangements to accept delivery on the date communicated by the Studio Delta team.
Deliveries will take place during normal business hours (Monday to Friday) unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. If an item is ordered on Saturday or Sunday, the lead time will be calculated from the following Monday.
Deliveries in Gauteng are handled by employees from the DELTA Group. Our support staff will confirm delivery the day before, and the delivery staff will contact you 30-60 minutes before arrival to confirm your availability. Whilst we aim to get your unit to you as swiftly as possible, we often have multiple deliveries on a single day, which makes it almost impossible to give you an exact timeframe of when the item/s will be delivered.
The DELTA Group delivery staff will help unpack and place the unit in your room of choice. This service will include minor delivery and garbage removal.
Please be aware that items are only guaranteed for entry onto the main floor due to liability reasons. We request that all walkways and areas that lead to the intended delivery location be clear. The DELTA Group delivery staff members are not allowed to move existing furniture items due to liability reasons.
The DELTA Group delivery staff members are experienced in delivering items and minor installations. However, they are not liable for any damages which may be as a result of delivery or installation.
Deliveries outside of Gauteng are handled by specific third-party freight carriers that specialise in furniture items. Due to the fragile nature of some of our items, transportation does take long. Items are collected from our facility and taken to a depot in Gauteng, where they are then loaded onto a truck that goes to a depot in the province of delivery. Items are then offloaded at the depot and once again loaded onto a different truck for delivery. This loading and off-loading have to be done with care and become a timely process.
Our team will give you confirmation as soon as the item/s have been collected from our production facility and taken to the Gauteng depot.
Our transport suppliers generally have specific areas that they service on a weekly basis. Based on this, we will be able to provide you with an anticipated arrival date. However, the transport company will contact you before the time to ensure availability.
