The steel components undergo a comprehensive seven-stage phosphate pre-treatment before being powder-coated. This process effectively removes any residue and ensures strong adhesion between the metal and the powder coating, enhancing corrosion resistance. However, please note that rust may still develop over time.

For those in more corrosive environments, we recommend opting for a coastal pre-treatment. This involves applying an anti-rust primer before the powder-coated topcoat, which can extend the lifespan of the table and benches in harsher conditions, although it won’t entirely prevent rust.

For the best protection against rust, we offer the option to galvanise the steel before powder coating, ensuring the highest level of durability for your patio set.
